What's it about? The attempted assassination of the American President is told and re-told from several different perspectives.
What type of film is it? Thriller
Is it any good? This has everything you could want from a thriller – apart from the thrills. There is a good car chase at the end but because throughout the film you see the same events played out about four times you never really get involved with or attached to any of the characters – the segments are just too short. Although some of the performances are good it is clear that some of the stars (step forward Sigourney Weaver!) pretty much dialled in their performances. It also doesn’t hang together too well, feeling like the whole thing was shot over just a few days with people coming and going and not really connecting. Not terrible just not half as good as it could have been if they’d have spent a bit more time and effort on it.
