Ultimate Cinemas Planned

A new chain of super cinemas is about to be launched in the US.

According to The Hollywoood Reporter newspaper a new deluxe movie theatre will open this year in suburban Chicago – it will be the first of 50 across the US.

The cinemas will include plush reserved seating, special parking privileges and “upscale” food and drink offerings with seat-side waiter service.

The “Gold Class” auditoriums will also feature a 40 seat maximum capacity.

However, tickets will cost $35 each – that’s about £17.50.

The movies will pop up across the US in the next five years.
