Week 8

Check out what how your baby is developing this week: -

• Your embryo has become that classic curled shape, the big fat head with a tall (not a very attractive shape at this point, and similar to a prawn from space, sure, but we all have to start somewhere).
• It's still so tiny, but it's about a millions times bigger than the fertilised cell that started to moving and shaking six weeks ago.
• The external bits of the ears now start to be visible, and the tiny hands are webbed.
