What's it about? Evan Baxter is the next one anointed by God to accomplish a holy mission – build an ark.
What type of film is it? Comedy
Is it any good? It’s the sequel to the Jim Carrey film Bruce Almighty Steve Carrell – who had a small part in the original – gets to take the lead. Bad idea. It probably seemed great on paper but it just doesn’t work. It can’t decide whether it wants to be a family comedy or something more adult and asa  result misses the mark. There are some good gags but it’s not that funny, the effects could be better and bar the lead actors, the cast isn’t up to much. The funniest bits are in the trailer so watch that instead…
