Owen Back At Work

Owen Wilson is ready to act again.

This is just six months after the 39-year-old actor tried to kill himself.

His next movie will be Marley & Me, a comedy based on a book by the same name about a writer who adopts a mischievous dog.
 
Jennifer Aniston will co-star as his wife.

The book’s author John Grogan has told People magazine in the US: "I'm thrilled they're starting production on this. It's been a long time coming and I really couldn't be happier on that."

"I read the script and I like it. I think it's really true to the book."

He added: "I'm actually really thrilled to have Owen Wilson portray me. We don't look anything alike but I think his personality will be a great fit to my own."

"And my wife, Jenny, is thrilled with being played by Jennifer Anniston and so am I. What's not to like, right?"

Filming is due to start filming in Miami from March 10 and go on until mid-May.

Marley & Me is scheduled to be released on Christmas Day.
