Cheryl is Voted The Hottest

Cheryl Cole has seen her status rise as one of the world's sexiest women, according to a magazine poll.

It's believed the Girl Aloud star's popularity soared following recent allegations surrounding her marriage.

Last year, the 24-year-old was seventh in the survey but she is now hovering around the top five.

Voting in the online poll closes in April.

Meanwhile, new Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere and last year's winner Jessica Alba are vying for the top spots.

The list of FHM's Sexiest Women in the World 2008 will be announced on April 24.
