It’s always said that the best way for a young person to learn the value of money is to work for it. That’s why Matthew Smith used to pocket £5 a week for delivering his local freebie paper. Not that it really taught him a great deal about being frugal – later in life, he would pay £1000 for a top worn by Britney Spears as a present for his girlfriend!

Matt’s the latest addition to the Heart line-up, and will be taking over the mid-morning show, weekdays 9am-1pm. Join him for The Time Tunnel and loads of Heart’s usual Feelgood Music.
