Sarah Is First Off The Ice

TV presenter Sarah Greene became the first celebrity to be booted off Dancing on Ice tonight.

She found herself in the bottom two alongside singer Samantha Mumba, receiving the least public votes.

The five judges chose to save Samantha, who was hugged by Greene.

Sarah said: "I've loved all of it - and this is a fantastic hobby to have."

"I'm going to continue. It's been such a fantastic experience and a fantastic sport."

"I just can't wait to get back to all my friends at Slough ice rink. Everyone should take it up."

The 12 celebrity skaters prepared for the first spectacular live ITV1 show with months of gruelling training - at up to 20 hours a week.
