Christian To Terminate

Christian Bale’s signed up for the fourth Terminator movie.

He’ll play John Connor in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, the long-awaited fourth installment in the franchise.

No official word yet on the plot but rumours suggest it will follow John, now in his thirties, leading the remainder of the human race in its ever-worsening battle against the machines.

However, reports have also suggest that this time John – although leading the rebellion – John Connor won’t be at the centre of the movie as a whole new bunch of characters will be the focus of the action.

Rather than picking up where Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines left off, however, the fourth installment will instead mark the beginning of a new trilogy.

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins – which will be directed by McG, the guy behind the Charlie’s Angels movies - will hit cinemas in summer 2009.
