Brad Is Ang's "Plus One"

Angelina Jolie took partner Brad Pitt as her date for the premiere of new movie Beowulf on Sunday.

The Hollywood pair chatted to fans and signed autographs in London's Leicester Square.

Her black leather trousers and tight sweater highlighted her slender frame, which has been the subject of much speculation in recent months.

Her partner Pitt, dressed in a grey flat-cap, was content to stand back and let Jolie have the limelight.

Heading in to watch the film, he told reporters: "I'm off duty tonight."

Her figure is a far cry from the curvaceous character she plays in Beowulf, an adaptation of the Anglo-Saxon epic.

The film has been made using the latest motion capture technology - the same as that used to create Gollum in Lord of the Rings - and the actors have been digitally enhanced.

The actress said she had a blast working with co-star, Ray Winstone.

She said: "He's amazing, I want to do something else with Ray soon because he's so much fun, he's brilliant."

The 32-year-old star said she was delighted to be back in the UK adding: "It's so, so nice to see all these fans here, it always is."

"I haven't been here for a little bit, I lived here for a few years and I do plan to come back more often."

Her partner Pitt, dressed in a grey flat-cap, was content to stand back and let Jolie have the limelight.

"I'm off duty tonight," he told reporters before heading in for the start of the film.

Also at the premiere were co-star Sir Anthony Hopkins and Winstone's actress daughter Jaime, who attended with her new boyfriend, Lily Allen's younger brother Alfie.
