No Reservations
Who's in it? Catherine Zeta Jones, Aaron Eckhart
What's it about? The life of a top chef changes when she becomes the guardian of her young niece.
What type of film is it? Romantic Drama
Is it any good? No. The biggest problem with this is that the usually impressive Catherine Zeta Jones simply isn’t convincing as a cook or a “struggling” parent/guardian. It’s harmless enough but it’s just a bit average. It’s such a shame because if it was more gritty and the relationships had a bit more of a fire in them then it could have been something different. It’s as deflated as a botched soufflé.
