Louis Walsh has launched a scathing attack on the Spice Girls just days before they kick off their world tour.
The X Factor judge has told Heart: "I couldn’t care less about the Spice Girls, I really couldn’t. They’ve never done anything for me vocally."
"They’re just five girls out there trying to make some money now."
The music mogul - who is behind such chart topping pop acts as Westlife and Boyzone - added: "I think young kids grew up with that Girl Power thing, that’s the attraction. I don’t get it because they can’t sing in my books."
"All Saints’ comeback was a disaster and they were a better girl band, they were a better looking band and they were a better band vocally and nothing happened."
Louis also told Heart that he regretted putting X Factor girl band Hope together.
He relented: "It was my idea and it was a mistake. They started off good but girl bands are hard work. It’s very hard for the five of them to get on. They all want to sing lead vocals, that’s the problem."
