Jake Torn By Heath Death

Jake Gyllenhaal is apparently having a terrible time coming to terms with the death of his Brokeback Mountain co-star, Heath Ledger.

The actor, who is godfather to the late actor’s two-year-old daughter Matilda, is reportedly devastated.

An insider’s told People magazine in the US: "Jake is taking this harder than most people."

"This has had a strong personal affect on Jake."

The actor apparently left the set of the movie he is filming as soon as he found out what had happened.

A source is quoted as saying: "It was obviously a major trauma. These guys were very close. Jake was sitting in the director's chair staring off into space."
