George Safe After Crash

George Clooney fractured a rib and his girlfriend broke her foot when they were knocked off his motorcycle by a car on Friday.

It happened in New Jersey in the US.

The 46-year-old actor and Sarah Larson  - who were both wearing helmets -were treated for their injuries at the Palisades Medical Centre and were released.

Spokesman Stan Rosenfield said: "He was treated for a hairline fracture of a rib and road rash."

He also told Reuters that the accident happened when a motorist signalled a left-hand turn, but turned right and hit George's motorcycle.

The publicist said he did not know whether the driver of the car was cited for the accident.
