What's it about? A futuristic action thriller where a team of people work to prevent a disaster threatening the future of the human race.
What type of film is it? Action
Is it any good? Not really. The director’s previous movies – Dog Soldiers and The Descent - have been sharp, original and hugely gripping but this is just a noisy, bloody and thoroughly disappointing mess with plot holes you could drive a post-apocalyptic armoured tank through. Think Mad Max meets 28 Days Later meets Excalibur. Don’t rush to the cinema to see it, just wait for it to hit DVD instead.
