After leaving uni with a graphic design degree, I decided I couldn’t draw very well or actually earn a living from it...

So, I embarked on my media career with work experience at Sky, a runner job at Nickelodeon and then went behind the scenes at ‘Milkshake!’ on Channel 5. My hospital radio demo got me a gig at Galaxy in Manchester – one of our sister stations – and via a few more radio stations, I landed on the Heart schedule in October 2006. After starting off on weekend afternoons, I ended up on Drivetime in early 2007.
