Cate's To Be A Mum Again

Cate Blanchett has confirmed she is pregnant.

This will be the award-winning actress’ third child.

Speaking to reporters at a red-carpet event in Sydney to promote her new movie Elizabeth: The Golden Age, she confirmed: "Yes, yes, we're expecting a baby in April which is very exciting."

Cate  and her playwright husband Andrew Upton begin a three-year stint in January heading the Sydney Theatre Company where she began her career 13 years ago.

They already have two sons.
