The ALUMINUM Show - 07:30PM 30/08/2008
location - Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham
Thursday 28 - Saturday 30 August 7.30pm
Saturday 2.30pm
Devised by IIan Azriel, a former dancer in Tel Aviv's Inbal Company who has let his imagination run riot on the theme on 'aluminum' in all its various industrial forms, The Aluminum Show is a joyous fantasy incorporating dance, puppetry and special effects to create a fabulous spectacle. With the assistance of a skilful and flexible cast of dancers, acrobats and athletes, worms slither menacingly across the stage: huge pillows float cloudlike through the air, a giant stalks the auditorium and, just when you think you've seen it all, a new scenario develops to enchant and enthral you.
Since it was first performed at the Israel Festival in Jerusalem in 2003. The Aluminum Show has toured Israel, Argentina and the Netherlands, as well as taking up lengthy residences in Athens, Greece, and Lisbon, Portugal. The show has been greeted with wonder and delight wherever it travels, with critics comparing it to the Blue Man Group and Stomp.
But The Aluminum Show is something you have to see for yourself, because it really is a show like no other. A spectacular phenomenon guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained
