Imagine trying to clean your house and do the washing without modern cleaning materials. Drop in and try your hand at ’ponching’ and a spot of cleaning like Great Granny used to. Activities are taking place at 10.30am- 12.30pm & 1.30pm - 3.30pm.

10am-1pm KATHAK BEGINNERS 2pm-6pm KATHAK MASTERCLASS Two distinct opportunities to develop new skills – either as a complete beginner in the morning sessions – or as an experienced Kathak dancer in the Masterclass sessions - in the company of Vina Ladwa, Artistic Director of Manushi Dance Company. Each class will be accompanied by a visiting tabla performer from India. Tabla masterclass on Saturday 30 August; for details contact Lakeside box office. £15.

Craft Fun Day - 10:30AM 26/08/2008

Stuck for something to do during the holidays? Why not pop down to Durban House Heritage Centre on 26th and 27th August and have a go at some of the fun craft activities taking place.
Children and adults can drop in and have a go at one of the many crafts on offer and then take their crafty works home with them. The event starts at 10:30am until 3:30pm and is free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
