My Wollaton: A New Perspective - 11:00AM 27/07/2008

As part of the My Wollaton Photo Competition and Peter Lester’s ’Scene Unseen’ exhibition, this digital photography session for 8 -12 year olds, will encourage participants to look for unusual aspects of the Wollaton environment. Drawing inspiration from portrait paintings in the collection, and picking up on the ’drama and dressing up’ themes of Laura Knight at the Theatre, fashion designers and photographers based in Nottingham have created a series of directional fashion images.

Abseil from Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham where CLIC Sargent have a dedicated social care team, who deal with all the non-medical issues that may arise as a result of a child’s cancer diagnosis. This will be the first time ever that the hospital has allowed an abseil to take place, so don’t miss this once in a life time opportunity to be the first people to abseil from it. Registration fee will be £10 and we ask people to raise a minimum of £100 per person to take part.
