“The Specialists” is pluck’s new show, devised in 2005 with director Cal McCrystal. It features three characters of dubious intelligence, Yarlesberg, Mr Abanathie and Kadifachi, who have formed a string trio, with the intention of performing a rather special classical music concert. At last, they have been given a chance to perform! Highly strung violinist Yarlsberg has designs on the perfect concert and ever enthusiastic Mr Abanathie aims to please with a variety of instruments. Meanwhile, budget celebrity Kadifachi’s surprisingly passionate relationship with her cello threatens to hijack the entire performance…

Air Cadets Open Evening - 07:30PM 08/05/2008

Loughborough Air Cadets of the Air Training Corps invite any teenagers aged between 13 and 17 years, to come to an open evening at the squadron building, to find out more about what we do! Our activities include flying and gliding, adventure training, sports and competitions and making lots of friends! We also provide the Duke of Edinburgh and National Navigation Awards Schemes, as well as BTECS. We parade every Monday and Thursday night, Subs are £5 a month and uniform is provided.
