Museums & Galleries Month Launch - 10:30AM 01/05/2008

Nottingham Museums & Galleries will be holding an event in the Square to celebrate the launch of Museums & Galleries Month. Consisting of stalls, displays and activities, the public will be encouraged to interact, have fun and celebrate the range of venues and activities that are offered across the city all year round.

Sing Freedom - The Celebration - 07:30PM 01/05/2008

Kainé Management Group have been awarded a grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund to co-ordinate a yearlong project to commemorate the abolition of slavery called Sing Freedom. This event is a celebration of the project and includes songs such as Swing Low Sweet Chariot and Wade in the Water. Performances by young people involved in song writing workshops and Kainé Gospel Choir. Tickets: £6.00 / £4.00
