State of the Art Tattoo & Body Art Festival - 12:00PM 20/07/2008
location - Assembly Rooms, Market Place, Derby, DE1 3AH
Over 8000 visitors are expected at Derby’s Assembly Rooms to see and meet over 90 world class tattoo and body artists tattooing all comers at this annual 2-day festival. Many local bands will be playing throughout the weekend, food, BBQs, bars plus over 40 fashion and body art trade outlets. Drawing inspiration from portrait paintings in the collection, and picking up on the ’drama and dressing up’ themes of Laura Knight at the Theatre, fashion designers and photographers based in Nottingham have created a series of directional fashion images.

Many of Nottinghamshire swimming pools will be opened for free use on the weekend of Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July 2008. This will be the first weekend of the summer holidays.
