Legendary comedy duo Cannon and Ball take to the stage for a brand new production of the classic 1970's farce Big Bad Mouse.
Tommy Cannon stars as Mr Price-Hargreaves, with Bobby Ball playing the eponymous mouse, Bloome; roles made famous by actors Jimmy Edwards and Eric Sykes.
And prepare to be surprised - no two shows are the same! The show is refereed by Paul Elliott, who produced the world premiere back in 1970.

His brother has measles and he's been sent to stay with his childless aunt and uncle – Tom is lonely, but this doesn't last long. At night, lying awake he counts the chimes of the grandfather clock in the hallway. On the stroke of thirteen he ventures downstairs to discover a little girl in a magical Victorian garden!
This moving and exciting story for people aged 9 – 99 years unfolds as Tom discovers the meaning of the inscription on the clock "Time No Longer". Tom's Midnight Garden was short listed In 2007 in the top 10 of the nation's favourite Carnegie Medal winning books of all time. Andrew Breakwell brings this enchanting story to life on the Playhouse stage.

Test your art-making skills during this week-long exhibition and related events. A rich assortment of painting, drawing and textile works from Nottingham City Museums’ collection act as a starting point from your creativity. Add to the display and think about the different methods used by artists across the centuries to express their ideas. Workshops: 28 June, 5 July (daytime) 1 and 2 July (6pm-8pm) Activities include WOW! at the Castle, art sessions from children with Rosey Hayward and Sian Watson. For adults: drawing from life and painting the landscape with Mik Godley and a textile day with Laura McCafferty; plus an informal Knitting Cafe for knitters of all ages and experience with Becky Bowley.
