The Zombies and The Yardbirds - 07:30PM 13/06/2008
location - Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham
Together in concert, The Zombies (Colin Blunstone, Rod Argent, Keith Airey, Jim & Steve Rodford) and The Yardbirds (Chris Dreja, Jim McCarthy, Ben King, John Idan and Billy Boy Miskimmin) promise an evening of 60s nostalgia. During the 60s, The Zombies were uniquely different with a subtler style and jazzier, more inventive chord structures. Featuring the prominent keyboards of Rod Argent and the distinctive voice of Colin Blunstone, their singles She's Not There and Tell her No soon became hits. The Yardbirds, famed for laying the groundwork for rock guitar as we know it, created hard rock from twelve-bar blues and ruled the stages with performances of hits For Your Love and Heart Full of Soul.

Welcome to the world of Doctor Dolittle!! He sets off from his home in Puddleby-on-the-Marsh, England, in search of the Great Pink Sea Snail. Along the way, he and his friends meet such exotic creatures as the Pushme-Pullyu and the Giant Moon Moth. Freddie Kofi returns to Nottingham Playhouse to perform new music from his long awaited album, Undisputed. This will be an unforgettable and uplifting experience as he launches his new BritGos Sound. Winner of the British Academy of Composers & Songwriters Award for his song, Kiss, Freddie breaks new ground with his innovative approach to introducing new music to the industry. Joining him will be newly signed artists to his BritGos Music Label as well as graduates from his Nottingham based Artist Development Academy.
