Welcome to the world of Doctor Dolittle!!
Brought to magical life by this country’s brightest musical entertainer, the legendary Tommy Steele stars alongside a huge company of singers, dancers, and puppeteers in this hit musical.
Immortalised in the hugely popular film, Doctor Dolittle is a world-renowned veterinarian who speaks a wide array of animal languages. He sets off from his home in Puddleby-on-the-Marsh, England, in search of the Great Pink Sea Snail. Along the way, he and his friends meet such exotic creatures as the Pushme-Pullyu and the Giant Moon Moth. The Oscar Award-winning score includes the hits "If I Could Talk To The Animals.”, “I’ve Never Seen Anything Like It” and “My Friend The Doctor”. With Lavish settings and spectacular effects Doctor Dolittle is the perfect treat for all the family!
Tommy Steele is the London Palladium’s all time biggest musical star after sell-out seasons there, including Singing In the Rain, Hans Christian Anderson, and Scrooge. His Hollywood hits include The Happiest Millionaire, Finian’s Rainbow and the acclaimed Half A Sixpence, which he performed in the West End and on Broadway

Sidewinding by Richard Wherlock highlights the sharpness and musicality of the company's dancers, whilst a new commission from the Italian choreographer Davide Bombana, brings a distinctively European flavour to the floor. Completing the bill are two young British choreographers Jamie Thomson and Vanessa Fenton who offer contrasting showcase of contemporary ballet.
