They think it reads ‘Reward for anyone brave enough to travel’. The rest of the article is smudged and can’t be seen. “We can do that” shouts Paul.” “Oh dear oh dear, something isn’t right” replies Barry! And so it was that our hapless heroes set off on another adventure full of mistakes, pitfalls and danger! Guaranteed fun and thrills for all the family from 3 to 103. One Rhythm Dance Festival - 11:00AM 05/05/2008
location - Castle Park Gardens, Leicester
Spring in your Step! A seasonal event to welcome spring with a celebration of May Day activities and dance. Castle Park Gardens will host traditional Maypole dancing and displays of Morris, clog and folk dancing, along with stalls and craft events. Town Hall Square will feature a children’s activity area and the chance for the whole family to have a go at maypole dancing. There will also be music and dance throughout the day. Humberstone Gate West, The Clock Tower and Gallowtree Gate will host British and Eastern European dance displays throughout the day along with street arts and crafts.

Starring Jeff Hooper with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra Featuring the hits Jezebel, High Noon, That’s My Desire and much more. Little did the teenaged Bill Ashton know, when he watched Frankie Laine on stage, that 30 years on his internationally acclaimed band the NYJO would tour with Frankie himself. And 50 years later NYJO would be undertaking this tribute tour.
