One Rhythm Dance Festival - 11:00AM 05/05/2008

Spring in your Step! A seasonal event to welcome spring with a celebration of May Day activities and dance. Castle Park Gardens will host traditional Maypole dancing and displays of Morris, clog and folk dancing, along with stalls and craft events. Town Hall Square will feature a children’s activity area and the chance for the whole family to have a go at maypole dancing. There will also be music and dance throughout the day. Humberstone Gate West, The Clock Tower and Gallowtree Gate will host British and Eastern European dance displays throughout the day along with street arts and crafts.
