I feel like a zombie at the moment...well, how i imagine a zombie would feel.

The last week has been seriously busy...but in a good way! The Nottingham Resturant Awards was on last wednesday which was a fantastic night so well done to everyone who won! My favourite part was when we got our starter...and i found a miniature lobster on my plate...Not being a huge fish fan, i wasn't quite sure what to do with the little fella. I was tempted to pop him in my bag, then realised that could become slightly anti social...

Then Saturday it was off to the Heart Ladies day at Leicester Racecourse! The sun stayed out so we could enjoy a few glasses of champers on the paddock lawn...ooooh. It was my first experience of a ladies race day and it was brilliant! Although i should probably be careful about just how me, Kelly from news and my mum got excited by all that gambling...i won £20!!! Was such a buzz...see you in ladbrokes.

Then Sunday i headed to Loughborough for the Race For Life. This again was a first for me and it was not only one of the best atmospheres i've experienced, but was truly inspiring and encouraging to see so many people joined together. Everybody knows someone who is affected by cancer, my dad is currently fighting it, so to see everyone making such an incredible effort and raising so much cash was fantastic and very moving!

I didn't get to run as i was busy commentating and orchestrating the largest mexican wave possible....so, as a result i shall be donning my running (brisk walking) shoes to take part in the next race at Castle Donington, so get signed up now to get involved too!
