So the time finally arrived. Being an avid fan of the series, (yes i do own the boxsets), i was waiting with baited breath for the much hyped film. And i wasn't disappointed...

I'll be honest, the first hour seemed a lot cheesier and a lot less sharp than the series. It all seemed way too fashion focused aswell. I love clothes and shopping like the next girl, but it seemed way more geared towards clothes and label dropping than the nitty gritty, risque and outrageous issues of the series! If i wanted to watch a show about fashion i'd watch Ugly Betty!

However, once it got going, it was back to it's best. The 'cheesy' aspect suddenly disappeared and it turned into a darker yet more realistic version of events, it became wittier and also heartbreaking.

By the last half hour i had cried a good 3-4 times, which really is a good sign of a brilliant film! I was sat next to 'alpha male, oooh i wish this was Rambo grrr' Sam and at one point i saw him wipe his hand across his face...he claimed it was dust. Yeeaaaah...those cinemas do seem to get so dusty!!
