Just a quick note with a recommendation! If you're looking for a night out & a bit of a treat, somewhere really special I really do suggest trying this new restaurant called 'Twelve' which is next to the Ambassadors hotel on Upper Woburn Place (Just off Euston road - WC1H). The food was just sensational. It was some of the best food I've ever tasted... and the first time I'd tried frogs legs! I'm quite experimental with food, & have always loved esgargot (snails!), but I'd always had a bit of a block on frogs legs... but they were delicious! Very delicate, slightly like chicken - if you had to relate it to something. The staff were all great, & the head chef (Santino) was a great laugh & you could see was totally passionate about what he does, which is always great to see. If you do go - let me know what you think. I'm sure you'll love it as much as me.
My other recommendation on the lead up to Christmas is the new Dustin Hoffman film 'Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium' (a title you can remember only after saying it out loud at least 3 times)... It has the potential to be one of the 'classics'... a beautifully made, fun family film. Dustin Hoffman is amazing. He was at the premiere on Sunday when I saw it & introduced the film to us. I was in the front row - literally 10ft from one of my idols, and he sat next to me for about 10 seconds before going up to the microphone... which also made my day! If you have young kids, they will simply love this film. Enjoy!
Hope you're enjoying the Club Classics & feel good tunes we're doing on the evening show at the moment... I'm having a lot of fun doing it, & if you're off to a Christmas party or hanging out at home doing some Christmas wrapping or preparations, it's the best soundtrack you can find! Give it a listen tonight from 7pm - and of course the usual Club Classics experience on Fri & Sat from 6pm-1am!
Have a great day
