Mark Ronson featuring Bob The Builder?

This story in the paper over the weekend amused me...you may have seen it!

Tom Cruise has asked Mark Ronson to DJ at his daughter Suri's 2nd birthday party in April.  Mark Ronson is probably the coolest DJ and producer in the World at the moment and he's the guy behind Amy Winehouse's song Valerie.

I don't have kids so I might be missing the point but surely a 2 year old girl would want a DJ that's going to play musical statues and Pass the Parcel, in between play ingBob The Builder and The Birdie Song? I doubt very much that Mark Ronson has a copy of The Birdie song in his collection, maybe he should do a cool remix of it?!  Are kids so much cooler these days that they'd prefer a superstar DJ to a clown??

I have at last got over my jetlag from my holiday to Mexico,  it makes you feel completely spaced out!  I got back on Wednesday morning last week and only started feeling human again yesterday!  It doesn't normally effect me but maybe it had something to do with the 24 hour journey with a 5-hour stop over in Miami!

It was so lovely to spend a week with my three brothers and Mum and Dad and it was my dad's 60th birthday whilst we were out there.  I also got to see my beautiful niece Milena who is 15 months old and walking and saying the odd word.  She is just so cute!

I was going to post a photo of her on my blog but I don't seem to be able to download any but I will keep trying because everyone loves a baby photo!  I promise I won't download loads of them because I know how boring other peoples holiday snaps are.....here's a tree, here's a temple, here's a tree and so on!

Anyway enjoy the rest of your day and try and join me tomorrow lunchtime at 1 on Heart!
