You can win pairs of tickets to Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday Concert in Hyde Park, London everyday this week on my show. On the line up acts such as The Sugababes, Annie Lennox and Leona Lewis, it's a good job Leona isn't charging because she is getting £1 million a gig at the moment. She donates much of the fee to charity so that makes her a top girl in my book!
Wimbledon started today so here's to two weeks of miserable weather. I was talking about the tournament on the show earlier today about how it has a unique power. Even if you are not really into tennis and don't follow it for the rest of the year you find yourself getting sucked into it and watching it religiously on the telly. We, as a nation never even do very well in it either! Our big hope is Scot, Andy Murray but I secretly don't want him to do very well ever since he said he wanted anyone to win the football World Cup other than England!
Our man on the ground, Mick Stubbles is reporting into Heart Breakfast during the tournament and you can hear him again online on the breakfast pages here. It's well worth a listen because it's very funny!
I have the upmost sympathy for you if you suffer from hayfever. I never used to get it but for the last two years it's got me! I spent most of today's show sneezing between records, cue for you to go "arh"!
See you tomorrow at 1...
