Rain Man as Rambo?
 

I hope you have enjoyed the last few days of sunshine because that's it - rain is on the way tomorrow. Looking on the bright side, sunshine will be back next week. Weather forecast over... just hope it's right!

They say you learn something new everyday, well I've certainly learnt something new today. Apparently Sylvester Stallone was not the first choice to play John Rambo in First Blood.  It was Dustin Hoffman of all people!  I just can't imagine him playing that role.  He turned it down because it was too violent for him.  Too violent?  Only  one person was killed in First Blood. If you want violent, then in Rambo 4, 236 people were killed... that's violent!

My parents are coming to stay on Thursday for a few days and they will still be here on Sunday, which is Fathers Day.  I am extra organised this year and already have a card for him.  I am thinking about trying out my new kitchen and cooking a Sunday Roast!  I haven't cooked that many roasts, but I know the key is to try and time everything to be ready all together. If you've got any tips for me then drop me an email, any help will be greatly appreciated!
