I was invited to a friend's birthday BBQ on Saturday night and arrived just as the final preparations were underway. These included assembling the recently purchased BBQ, making a punch that would prove to be lethal later in the night, and setting up a rather fab looking chocolate fountain!

As soon as we heard the fountain was ready for action, we all gathered excitedly round the table as the switch was flicked and lovely melted chocolate started to cascade smoothly down the 3 tiers. It's at this point that things turned messy! Whoever put the fountain together hadn't tightened the tiers to the base properly...they began to rise from the based and spin round and round spraying warm, melted chocolate EVERYWHERE! (Almost like a wet muddy dog drying itself in your newly decorated living room!)

The thing I love most about this story is the fact the girls were more concerned about whether or not they had chocolate on their outfits! They may have lost the deposit on their flat due to the chocolate stains on the crisp white walls, but at least they still looked good for the night ahead!

“When Chocolate Fountains Attack”! If ITV get desperate for new ideas for their Autumn schedule, they can have that one for free!
