So close to Mexico!

This time next week, I'll be in Mexico... with the entire Snaith clan in tow! And they're staying for longer than me. That's not fair!

Just a quickie before I go for the weekend!

Natalie Pinkham who presents Feel Good Friday has given me £1.50 to get her a Euro Millions lottery ticket. If she wins I won't be here on Monday because I will flee the Country with her £95 million! That's a crazy amount of money to win, you would be instantly richer than Robbie Williams! The odds are stacked against you thou, at 76 million to one! That's the same odd's as Victoria Beckham becoming the next England manager! You would be better putting your money on Jamie Theakston being the next King of England at odds of 10 million to one!

New Kitchen

I spent two hours in the kitchen shop this morning whilst the lady planned out my kitchen. There were so many decisions to make but we eventually got there. We agreed the price and I gave her my credit card to pay the deposit and it wouldn't go through so I couldn't order it! What a waste of time...it's so annoying because I had the money in my account and will have to go back later! I know exactly what you are going through if you are in the process of getting a new kitchen.

How to rescue a £20 note

Last week, the wind blew a £20 note out of my hands and down a gutter. I can see if every time I walk past, but how do I get it?

Run to the Beat

You know you really should start a fitness regime when you see an old friend who you haven't seen for ages and they tell you that you've put on a few pounds! So I am reluctantly going to start running again this weekend and I may even sign up for Run To The Beat which is a half marathon in October! Harriet Scott from Heart Breakfast is doing it and I think Gareth John is signing up too! He did the marathon last year so a half marathon should be a walk in the park for him! It's good to have something to aim for I think and it's far enough away to be ready for it when it finally comes around! If you fancy doing it then you can sign up on the Heart website.

I feel bad

I've done something really terrible and it's playing on my conscious and I feel I have to tell some one about it. Even if it means I get arrested and sacked and won't be here tomorrow. I can't spend the rest of my life with it on my mind, a problem shared is a problem halved they say!

Club Classics at the Natural History Museum

If you are free on Thursday night I will be doing a Club Classics set at The Natural History Museum Ice Rink from 7.45pm. So you can skate around the ice to Gloria Gaynor! Skating is really in vogue at the moment because a new series of Dancing On Ice started on Sunday. Our very own Natalie Pinkham who presents Feel Good Friday got through to next week so well done her! If you watch the show on Sunday then give her your vote.....please!

Cirque du Soleil

I went to see Varekai from Cirque du Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall last night and it was fantastic! Having seen last year's show it had a lot to live up to but it was bigger and better. Don't expect to get the story line unless you understand French! Even then I suspect it would be difficult to follow the weird and wonderful world of Varekai but it's all about the dramatic set, colourful costumes and awe inspiring stunts!
