Amy Winehouse was a winner at the MTV Europe Music Awards with a prize voted by her peers.
The Rehab singer received the Artists' Choice award, chosen by fellow musicians.
However, Amy's live performance of Back to Black has not allayed concerns following her drug-related problems.
She only said "thanks" as she collected the Artists' Choice award but she stumbled through her live performance minutes later and seemed to have problems remembering the words.
Her dancing was not in rhythm with the music and she seemed unsteady on her feet.
She was a last-minute addition to the bill for the ceremony in Munich, Germany.
Her win follows a troubled few months in which she was admitted to hospital with a drug-induced seizure, spent time in a rehab clinic and was involved in several public bust-ups with husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
Securing her for the ceremony was a coup for organisers - in September she cancelled an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas while she received treatment for her various problems.
The 24-year-old star was nominated in three other categories - Best UK & Ireland Act, Album of the Year for Back To Black and Most Addictive Track for Rehab - but failed to win.
She was not the only hellraising British star to grace the EMAs.
